A note from our founders

As experienced accounting practice owners from Melbourne, we intimately understand the importance of a robust finance function to the success of your business. We have also had the unique perspective of witnessing the successes and failures of our own clients’ outsourcing journeys.

Driven by our frustrations with the quality of accounting talent in Australia, we opened our own office in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2018 to build a team of accountants for our own accounting practices.

Over time, we have developed a winning formula to recruit and train well rounded, technically proficient accounting professionals, regardless of their location. Our secret lies in technical capability, deep cultural awareness and mutual respect.

David has over 10 years’ of experience working in the private client space, predominantly with SME’s and not for profit organisations.

He regularly works with business owners to design and implement complete finance outsource solutions in a range of industries including accommodation, hospitality, medical, construction, property as well as the not for profit sector

With diverse career experience in both tax and accounting, David is passionate about advising private business owners on improving their internal finance processes, leveraging a combination of specialist human resources and technology.

He has a unique understanding of the needs of both business owners and finance executives, having accumulated experience consulting on taxation matters in public practice and leading finance teams in a commercial environment.

Delivering commercial solutions to complex problems is the enduring challenge that Wei has dedicated his career to addressing.

Ben Malone, CA, GAICD

Head – CFO Advisory

Ben has extensive experience in CFO and senior finance leadership positions within Australia and internationally. He has diverse industry experience and significant ASX listed experience, with a particular focus on technology companies. Ben has expertise in building and leading high performing teams in organisations of all sizes and partnering with boards, executives, and other key stakeholders to drive decision making and business strategy. He has significant experience in all areas of commercial, corporate and operational finance and strategy, including leading a number of significant transactions.
